Poorani Jeans....Aur Guitar....

What a way to depart with 2009....

It was an immediate decision to meet up on 30 Dec 09 in Mumbai.... All chuddy buddies... my hostel mates...

It had been a long time since we had met each other. Thanks to telecom n internet revolution that we don't feel away from each other, but meeting in person has its own charm.

So, there were 3 Ediots @ Cafe Mondegar; talking, laughing, sharing new & experiences...

After having fews rounds or say sessions(as expressed by gattubhaiya), we decided to head back to Gattubhaiya's sasural to see lil TTU, the advanced version of Gattu. We had couple of Pans to conceal our fragrance which could have made lil Ttu drowsy...

We took a cab from Regal and asked the Cab driver to take us to our destination.. The cab driver asked us if we want to take a short route(back side of marine drive) or the longer one(right from marine drive). We were too much occupied in talks to answer him. So, the cab driver took the long route considering his business.. Gattu was first to notice that the cab drive had taken the long route and conveyed the same message, asking for an explanation... Cab driver made an (lame)excuse of traffic. Without thinking twice, I told the cab driver; "Koi baat nahi hai bhaiya, mumbari darshan karva hi do. Its been a long time since we had been to marine drive. Aur ab to hum thoda long route afford bhi kar sakte hai, hostel wale din nahi hai....". Three of us laughed it off again going back to those nostalgic moments where in every penny was counted and last few days of the month always gave us the impression of being the poorest in the world...

So, after showing off our decent smiley face, Andy n I headed for another intellect session @ Cafe Ideal, which had changed a lot with the time.. The ambiance had got younger n polished while the crowd had grown older n dullish. Still it managed to attract few who remembered its nostalgic charms... Gattu joined in later for some more sessions..

We might have all the luxuries money can buy; but not those good ol days....

These brief sessions gave us a glimpse of those days which have gone too far but will never be erased from our heart...
